We have few plastic injection molds which we are using for in house production as well as we share these molds with our vendors too, as we subcontract the job at the time of high demand. For sake of that we have created material codes for these molds. Every time we need to send these molds to vendor we create Transfer Order of that material code. But now we want to do in house maintenance too for these molds. In order to do that we are creating the PRT Equipment using t-code IE01. My question is what functional location should be assigned to these molds or we can skip it by not assigning any functional locations? What is ideal practice?
